Through this week, I understood what UID, UDL, and UbD are, where UID and UDL are the frameworks that help learners get better access to new knowledge and learning. The article Universal Instructional Design and Universal Design for Learning talked about UDL and UDI. I learned the difference between UID and UDL. The UID is based on seven principles, including simplicity and fairness, adaptability, straightforwardness, clarity, support, reduction of physical work, and adaptation to students. UDL, on the other hand, is based on three principles, including providing multiple ways of expressing information and content, providing multiple ways of action and expression, and providing multiple ways of participation. The above comparison shows that UDL tends to be briefer, student-friendly and to the point. UDL, on the other hand, is more focused on diversification of the learning process, multiple expressions, participation and interaction.
UbD is a framework of thought that helps students transfer their knowledge. Article Understanding By Design shows that UbD tends to be more applied, taking what students learn in the classroom and deepening their learning experience by applying it in the real world. UbD is based on the principles of reverse design and its three phases to achieve a better supporting role. Also What Is Understanding by Design (And Why Should Administrators Care) shows the advantages of UbD. and the specific steps to design backward.
For learning and differentiated learning, a variety of programs can be developed through UID, UDL, or UbD.

Hello, nx
You have analyzed the UID, UDL, and UBD learning characteristics in your article again and have links to related information to check. I quickly understood the difference between the three after reading it, and it was very helpful to me!
Your google earth is also very clear and has its own description of the location. These two places are very attractive, and I will visit them when I go to Vancouver. Thank you for posting it!
