Nowadays, there are many different ways to learn, including interactive and multimedia learning, which can better improve students’ learning efficiency.
First of all, I would like to talk about interaction, which significantly increases students’ participation, makes the class more interesting, and allows students to receive knowledge more efficiently from the interaction. This interactive learning is manifested in five different teaching styles, they are brainstorming, think-pair-and-share, buzz sessions, incidence process, and Q&A sessions. Here are the article Interactive Teaching Styles Used in the Classroom. I strongly agree with the points mentioned in the article. Compared with the traditional teaching model, students’ attention will be more focused in the classroom. Also, by participating in the discussion of issues, students can better share their opinions.
Secondly, what I learned from this week is that multimedia plays a very crucial supporting function. Through Interactive and Multimedia Learning, communication between teachers and students can be smoother, and multimedia makes it easier for students to ask questions and for teachers to explain them better. Through multimedia, the interaction becomes more efficient. Also, there are lots of tools for learning, and this week shows the top 300 tools for learning, we could easily find what we need from this list.

Hi, Nx
I really like your article, which is clearly expressed and easy to understand. Also, your additions are useful, with hyperlinks and extra articles.
I totally agree with you about interactive learning, it is an easy and effective way to learn. It is more engaging for students and discussions with other students, also allow them to share ideas, meet new friends and help each other. I can create a positive learning environment.
Due to the pandemic in the past few years, I also have some experience in using multimedia learning. I think multimedia learning has many benefits, it is more flexible and there are many tools to make learning more efficient, such as the recording function, and the screenshot function (to help with notes).
Do you have experience with interactive multimedia learning? If so, do you like this method of learning? What do you think are the disadvantages and advantages of multimedia interactive learning? I would like to hear from you.

Hi, Junyang
Thank you for your comments. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, I have also tried many multimedia interactive learning. For example, using zoom for classes and exams. In zoom class, the teacher will separate students into different rooms to have a group discussion. I like this learning style more. I think the advantages are that group discussions can be more efficient, there is less noise around than in the classroom, and the group members can communicate better with each other. The disadvantage is that some students may not pay attention to the class.
